The Andrews Labor Government is putting families first by giving the Bannockburn community the great sport and recreation facilities it deserves.
The Bannockburn community can look forward to upgraded sport and recreation facilities thanks to funding from the Andrews Labor Government’s $100 million Community Sports Infrastructure Fund.
Member for Western Victoria, Gayle Tierney today announced the Golden Plains Shire is set to receive a $66,500 grant for the Bannockburn Heart Active Play Space Project.
The project will include the installation of active recreation infrastructure and play space elements as part of the Bannockburn Heart development that will encourage opportunities for individualised recreation and fitness activities for all ages.
Grassroots sports clubs and recreation parks are the lifeblood of our towns. They are where communities get together, locals embrace healthy and active lifestyles and kids enjoy special memories that stay with them for life.
Victoria is the sporting state, and it doesn’t happen by chance. We’re upgrading grassroots facilities all over the state, because it changes people’s lives for the better.
