Victorian sports clubs are the lifeblood of our communities and they deserve modern, accessible and safe facilities – the Labor Government is delivering those facilities through its Community Sports Infrastructure Fund.
The fund is developing new sport and active recreation facilities and rejuvenating tired grounds and ageing clubrooms across the state.
In this round of the Community Sports Infrastructure Fund, over 90 projects will be supported across Victoria thanks to a $60 million boost from the Victorian Budget 2018/19.
It’s part of our commitment to promoting sports and active recreation and encouraging all Victorians to get out there and get active.
Across Victoria we’ve already invested $420 million in community sport and recreation facilities and added a more than half a billion dollars in the Victorian Budget 2018/19 to support sport across all levels.
Ms Tierney acknowledged Golden Plains Shire Council and the Bannockburn & District Bowls Club for their commitment and financial contribution to the project.
