The 2018 Apollo Bay Seafood Festival is set to expand to a 3 day event thanks to a funding boost from the Andrews Labor Government.
Labor Member for Western Victoria, Gayle Tierney announced that Apollo Bay Seafood Festival has secured a $10,000 grant through the Labor Government’s Regional Events Fund.
This family fun event features cooking demonstrations from local and celebrity chefs, live entertainment, market stalls and locally brewed beers and ciders from Prickly Moses.
Showcasing the best of the region’s fresh and local seafood, the Festival is a key date on the region’s events calendar, attracting 15,000 people each year.
Events like this mean serious business for Apollo Bay and surrounding areas. They attract visitors, create jobs, and keep local businesses busy.
Our $20 million Regional Events Fund is helping rural and regional communities all over Victoria stage and secure events that bring visitors in their droves, support local communities and show off the best that regional Victoria has to offer.
The Apollo Bay Seafood Festival will run from 16 -19 February, 2018.
