I commend the Geelong West Neighbourhood House committee for its efforts in organising WestFEST last Sunday afternoon. It was a real local festival celebrating local artists, local produce and local activities. The festival vindicated the need for the committee, which is soundly committed to bringing the local community together, providing support and fostering engagement. I say to committee members: well done — your work is to be commended.
