I also congratulate the East Geelong men’s shed group, which after a number of years has finally been able to get its shed organised. The shed was opened last month at the Grinter Reserve by Cr John Mitchell, the mayor of the Greater City of Geelong. Although it is still early days, the group is off to a good start with about 60 members. For membership inquiries, people can drop in on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 midday, or contact Bob Westlake on 0447106036.
