Geelong Regional Library CEO Patti Manolis is one of twenty women being inducted onto the 2016 Victorian Honour Roll of Women.
Each year, a number of Victorian women who have made significant contributions at a local, state, national or international level are inducted to the Honour Roll as a way of acknowledging their achievements.
Ms Manolis has committed her career to achieving excellence in public library service
provision.
She is dedicated to life-long learning, the exchange of ideas and information and the
empowerment of communities.
As Chief Executive Officer of recognised industry leader Geelong Regional Library, Ms Manolis has succeeded in providing the best library, heritage and community experience.
Under her leadership the transformation of the Geelong Regional Library to deliver innovative, high quality, contemporary and sustainable services has been commended and extends across a further four Local Government Authorities.
Minister for Women, Fiona Richardson, said that each inductee to the Honour Roll had a unique and extraordinary story which would inspire future generations of young women to strive and to realise their full potential.
