Students in Lismore will soon have access to the first-rate classrooms and facilities they deserve, with work under way upgrading Lismore Primary School.
Member for Western Victoria, Gayle Tierney today announced that BDH Constructions has been appointed to build the school’s $110,000 upgrade, which will help it deliver a 21st century education.
The upgrade will see minor upgrade and refurbishment works in Block A, pavement installation, outside drainage works and a new playground.
Under the Andrews Labor Government’s school building boom, a total of 100 new schools will open by 2026, ensuring every child has a great local school and a great start in life.
The Andrews Labor Government has invested $5.6 billion to deliver more than 1,400 school upgrades, supporting over 5,000 construction jobs for Victorians.
The Labor Government is building the Education State to ensure that every student can access a great local school and get a quality education.
